Do you have uneven or chipped teeth? A smile makeover with dental veneers or crowns can give you the smile you’ve always dreamed of.
How do you know which option is best? We recommend dental veneers for patients who don’t have extensive damage to their teeth, but who want to gain a better smile in a relatively non-invasive way. Veneers can improve your teeth colour, reshape the appearance and hide those imperfections.
Dental crowns; however, can be placed over broken and heavily filed teeth, recreating the outer shell of teeth – back and front – restoring function and giving your smile a whole new look.
What are veneers / crowns?
They are very thin, custom-made shells which are added to the front of a tooth (veneer) or entirely cover a tooth (crown). They are customised to mimic the true colour and shape of natural teeth, and can improve the look and shape of your smile. Once affixed, they appear natural looking and perfectly complement facial features. They’re like natural teeth – but better! – because they’re easier to clean and they don’t stain!
What types of dental veneers and crowns are available?
- Porcelain veneers/crowns are natural, durable and strong. Bonded directly to the surface of the tooth, they last well over 10 years and are resistant to staining over time.
- Composite veneers are a fantastic affordable alternative to porcelain veneers. They’re ideal for low stress situations and minimal adjustments as they don’t require as much tooth prep.
What are the benefits of a smile makeover?
- Find confidence speaking and smiling again
- Long lasting with a natural look
- Minimal maintenance
- Solutions for any number of missing teeth
- Efficient treatment & recovery time
How can Smile On Clinics give me a beautiful and natural looking smile?
At Smile On Clinics we are trialing a world first treatment that allows patients to try on their new smile before committing to the treatment, and it works just like a snap on smile. Our clinicians have gone through rigorous training in order to provide patients a look into the future!
In the initial appointment, records are taken to measure your face, smile and teeth, and you’ll complete a survey to establish what you want your brand new smile to look like. You can even bring in a photo of what you deem the “perfect smile”. The more information the better! Our dentists will then create a smile for you to try before you return, allowing for clear communication of the final result – which you are welcome to shape and change!
The dentists at Smile On Clinics design your veneers/crowns to replicate the look, shape, texture, and silhouette of real teeth. They are placed with meticulous attention to detail, and can be used to:
- Lighten the shade of one or all of your teeth
- Remove any small gaps between teeth
- Improve the shape and size of teeth and dental implants
- Balance the smile line for improved confidence
How much will a smile makeover cost at Smile On Clinics?
Every patient is different and has unique needs, but we estimate that porcelain veneers/crowns will start from $1,600 per tooth, and composite hybrid veneers from $900 per tooth. Note that payment plan options are available.
