Dr Jade Yuan has a clinical interest in oral surgery and cosmetic smile design, including resin composite restorations, porcelain veneers and crowns, complex wisdom teeth extractions, and TMD management. Dr Jade has also been appointed as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney Dental School, where she supports and mentors dental students. From general dentistry and restorative procedures to oral surgery, she is committed to providing patient-centred care.
Currently awarded a National Industry PhD Fellowship, Dr Jade is involved in research exploring new techniques and technologies in dentistry. She also collaborates with the University of Queensland, the University of Sydney Dental School, and industry partners.
Dr Jade holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Medical Science from the Australian National University. She is committed to ongoing continuing professional development and lifelong learning.
She has worked across community health centres, private practices and public hospitals. Dr Jade focuses on listening to patients and discussing treatment options tailored to their individual needs. Internationally, she has studied and conducted research at the National University of Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School, and represented the University of Melbourne in the AUS-VIET dental health project in Vietnam.
Outside the Practice
In her spare time, Dr Jade enjoys exploring interesting restaurants, working hard at the gym, catching waves on a surfboard, and enjoying the slopes on her snowboard.
