Dr Leo Thanos

DEN0001248293 – Registered dentist Dr Leo Thanos graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1992 and has been practicing in the Illawarra region ever since. Dr Leo is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) as well as the Australian Dental Association (ADA) where he has held the position of Treasurer of the South Coast Division of the ADA NSW Branch for a number of years. Dr Leo provides general dental care, including treatment in our Warrawong surgery under conscious sedation (“Penthrox”), as well as treatment under General Anaesthetic at Wollongong Day Surgery. Dr Leo has the pleasure of treating multiple generations of families and feels honoured to have been a part of their lives for the past 30 years. Dr Leo’s wife is also in the medical profession and together they have three beautiful teenage daughters. They enjoy spending weekends sharing their love of Triple J, as well as cheering on the St George Illawarra Dragons.
